Needle Hook Embroidery Tutorial

Today I am sharing its tutorial…some friends request me about its technique & tutorial so i did a little effort..& i hope it will be an easy tutorial for you…Lets check it..
First of all you have to know about adding thread in this special hook… this is the procedure.

Take the hook & the thin wire for adding wool thread in the pipe

  • add the wire in the pipe as shown above in 2nd pic

add wool double thread

Now pull the wire, so wool will be out from the pipe

There is a hole in the pen type tip of the pipe, you have to add thread there too…so again use the wire for adding thread into that hole…& then make a knot there…

The process starts now!!!

Fix the fabric on hoop…you will work on fabric from its back side, so fix back side of fabric..so the loops will appear on the front side,

  • Take the hook as pencil or pen..

  • add the tip of the hook in fabric continuously, it will look like stem stitch, but from back side it will make loops..as shown in 4th picture..

Its an easy technique but it takes time.you have to work with patience..& at the end of the project you will have to paste freezer paper on the back side of the embroidery, because these loops are not permanent..can be hooked or disturbed…

You can add some more colors of wool in your embroidery…you can also make different designs..floral designs are mostly perfect..you can make your name monograms type things too..it can work well on every type of fabric..well its not difficult to try..it looks same as towel..& if you cut the loops a little, then it will look like velvet & shiny…

I tried my best to explain this technique,i don’t know its easy to understand for you or not,but i am leaving my effort here..wish you all the best..for any query & any type of help you can always write to me…i will love to hear from you..

Thanks!
