Hajj- Eid Al Adha Crafts & Creations

In the lunar based Islamic calendar, this Eid falls on 10th day of Dhu al Haijjah and lasts for four days. Muslims all over the world sacrifice halal animals to give honor to the willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim a.s (Abraham), Who sacrifice his own son Hazrat Ismail a.s on the command of Allah (s.w.t) but Allah (s.w.t) informed him through his angel Hazrat Jibrail a.s that his sacrifice has already been accepted, and the son was exchanged with a sheep. That was a sign of acceptance of Abraham’s sacrifice.

So most of the Muslims sacrifice sheep or other halal animals to gratify Allah’s (s.w.t) will on these particular days of Hajj.

Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Makkah and a compulsory religious duty for all the Muslims, should be carried out at least once in a lifetime by them. The pilgrimage occur from the 8th to 12th of Dhu al Hijjah, that is the last month of Islamic calendar.

So the Muslims all around the world celebrate this occasion whole heatedly and make this occasion more joyful by sharing their happiness with everyone. They arrange feasts and invite their relatives to celebrate Eid with them.
