I Fix some pearls with a chain & made this bracelet.. I have some homemade clay preserved in my craft room drawer, which was now getting dry(I made that 6 months back).. so I thought to use it somewhere before it gets totally dry. So I did this texture technique, lets see..

Giving texture to the clay/dough by pressing it over a designed surface & converting it into a glitter charm for bracelet.

Add jump rings & its done..

This is how I create the texture.. place the clay/dough piece over the design surface & push with any roller, separate carefully & the texture is done!

Wonderful & talented Kathreen. The founder of whipup.net ..May Her Soul Rest in Peace..!
Kathreen Ricketson & her husband Robert were on a trip to Coral Bay, western Australia. she sting by a deadly Jellyfish while swimming at beach.. This is the most tragic news which saddened crafters all around the world.

I was away from blogland for about one month, I read previous updates at blogger feed yesterday & there I check a post about her sudden death.Its really was shocking to me because a few weeks back I was checking her daily updates at instagram where she was sharing her camping at beach & many adventures too..

I have been featured so many times at whipup & also been there as a guest poster from Pakistan in 2011,
In 2012 again I was interviewed in guests series of the year. Its an honor for me to be in her list while working on guest post series.

Kathreen was most active at instagram where she was sharing updates of her journey almost daily, I was following here there from up to one year, now I was checking her page & it makes me sad to see many of her sweet pictures with her kids.. I would like to share some with you too..

A Jellyfish in her daughter’s hand.. reminds me the deadly jellyfish sting which cause Kathreen’s death,who knows the future? this picture makes me sad really!

She was adventuring there.. living with many risks..

She caption this above image, “Foot Family Portrait” Oh God.. two big feet are now missing..

This heart draw at beach sand is also by Kathreen.. We Love you Kath..we will Miss you..

I made this card in her memory, the blue color is over flowing here just to depict ocean..but Kathreen will always be colorful as her personality & her crafts..I will be taking more drawings card making orders & will be donating the all income of this month to her kids.. Isn’t it cute? wanna see its before image? let’s see..

Yep, its made of clay.. a handmade clay pot..pretty simple but cute..

So the fun fact revealed here..its a miniature coin bank, its size is not more than a couple inches..

For making this fun shimmer coin bank..you will need to have any glitter glue & soft brush with some rhinestones for the embellishment.follow the simple steps above.. first I dip this pot into the water so it gets smooth surface.I use 3 coats of glitter glue for this much shine & shimmer. when the first will be dry then repeat & at the end you can sand it with zero sand paper.at the end paste the stones over it.

Help me in adding these coins into it.. I promise I will share some with you if you will be helping.. hehe

Now I will be saving more money.. yeah!!

Well, now back to serious mood.. its a fun if you will be crafting with kids.. you can shimmer any of real big sized coin bank & your kids will be enjoying making & decorating their boxes & jars..it will also encourage them for savings..

Here it is my new bone china Mug.. but excuse me again..!! Miniature..

too little..actually its my phone accessory but made of bone china so it disturbs my iPhone screen..that’s why I avoid these kind of accessories.

I decoupage it with foil sheet & its having a new look totally!

You will need to have a Box, piece of thin foil sheet (which is usually used in covering baking tray).. scissor & glue..

First I made a texture of crush over at plain foil sheet, see how I did it..

Carefully make it round & press a little, then more carefully open it. if you will be opening quickly, you will may be torn it.. then place it over the box lid & cut along according to its size. I left a little space because the red color combination was not bad with silver. then glue the box lid & paste the sheet carefully.

Let it dry & its DONE..

See how I packed all in small transparent packets..

These are a few big rings with stones..

And this ring is gifted by my 5 years old cousin.. he was with his mother while she was shopping & there he request her to bought it for me because he saw me wearing big sized rings. so sweet of my little baby cousin.. I think kids can only enjoy toys shopping for themselves but it seems sweet that  rings at shop reminds him about Me.. aww.. lovely!

Oh yeah..if you think the box is a bit simple, you can give me ideas on how I can embellish its lid..

Here it is.. I made two.. one with white base & the other is with green..

First I wrap the bangle with clay/dough & I tried making this neat but it wasn’t easy actually.. Then I fix the stones for some bling and some small clay flowers. At the end I simply seal it with mod podge gloss. I also hide the rough sides with red glitter paint.

Two bangles are ready now..dry these for a few hours until clay gets hard..

My hands were so gluey, that’s why I were unable to take many fine  pics.

what do you think now! its simple but many times better than that of golden color version..haha.. am I right? I hope so..

Its the necklace piece, the base is cotton fabric & after doing embroidery,I paste some fleece at back side for hiding the embroidery inner side & also for making this comfortable.First of all I draw the shape of necklace at fabric & then fix it over a hoop & then started working on embroidery. & when I complete my work, then I paste the fleece at back side & trim it. fix the loops & tassel straps & its done!

The big one is Neck piece & the other similar one is arm piece.. which is usually wore by the girls when they are wearing half sleeves..

Material I have used in this Embroidery work is Silk thread, zarri thread(tilla) silver beads, turquoise sequins, silver Rhinestones. If you are curious about this embroidery technique, you can learn through this Tutorial of embroidered leather purse.

Here it is an easy idea about decoupaging a leather diary. Its a new diary,but I was not feeling good with its brownish color.So I hide the color brown & make it girly now.

I did this within 15 minutes, a very easy & quick make over.. you should try this if you are tired of seeing your same/simple diary cover.

You will need to have a floral designed paper, foam brush, scissor, modpodge/glue, sand paper zero,

Process;

- First I measure the diary area where I want to paste the sheet. Then I cut the paper & paste over it.when it will get dry then simply mod podge it.

I did a second coat of modpodge but this time I apply MP sparkle for some blingy look..can you feel some shimmer here?

I make a bookmark too for this diary, you should use zero sand paper for making this diary smooth for holding in hand.

A few bad experiences while crafting are always useful for us in future, as I have missed my tutorial images but from now I will be more careful while working with camera touch system.

Let me know how you feel about my today’s post without step by step images..I hope you can to understand well without all steps because its a very simple and easy idea about decoupage.
