Weaved Mat Tutorial For coffee Mug
I am sharing today a simple and easy way to make a tea or coffee mat.

You will need to have a square piece of any hard fabric,felt is perfect for this!!
Ribbon strips in two colors
A bias tape..
Then make strait lines having one inches gap,as the above picture is showing…
Cut the strait lines and make a sheet,then weave these ribbons into it…
Complete the weaving,one up and one down.the simple plain weave…
Cut out the extra edges of the ribbons and then stitch a Bias tape to finish it,,,

If you feel the ribbons are disturbing then stitch over it,use opposite color thread as I did….& Its completed now!
