Silk Painting

During my textile design studies, I learnt many techniques of fabric painting and coloring but the most difficult I found was Silk Painting! I design this shirt with some silk paints easily available in the market. This combinition is looking too bright and good. Today I will be sharing some images of my work with you. I hope you will like the idea.

I really enjoyed painting this. Lets see here:

First of all I draw the design with pencil and applied some fabric glue for sealing the fabric paint design. otherwise paints will be penetrating from the design outlines.

I fill the colors with paint brush when glue outliner got dry.

And at the end for giving it a final touch I simply added an outline of golden led paint over the glue outline.

So what do you think, isnt it looking good? my theme for this design was Fruits. And dont you think its fresh design like some colorful fruits? haha
