How To Make Handmade Business Cards for Creative People
In my previous article when I share Dawn Lifestyle Exhibition details, I were talking about my handmade business cards. Today I will be sharing the tutorial on How To Make Handmade Business Cards for Creative People. I hope you will like to see how I did it.
When I got an invitation of the lifestyle expo at Convention Centre, My friend suggest me to grab some business cards too as we might connect some new crafters & bloggers there. So this planned suddenly. I thought to try something handmade instead of printed business cards. I design my own handmade business cards then! Would you like to see how I have done it?
Let’s see..
How To Make Handmade Business Cards for Creative People
As it was a sudden plan to visit the expo, So I made these at night while I were tired after shopping during day time! This was the only idea in my mind to make these cards in less time. That’s why I will not be having many step by step images of the making. I hope my creative buddies will understand the making while reading the steps below!
You will need to have :
Canson sheet or any other card material.
Designing scissors,
Washi tape,
Markers & pointer.
Making ;
First I measure & cut some pieces of cards. They were approximately 3 x 4 inches in size.
I prefer cutting some cards with designing scissors.
Then I cover two sides of each card with washi tape.
Now the matter was about writing down the credentials. I don’t have a perfect hand writing but as my big bro approved the way I were writing, So I feel relax!
I put some lines with the pencil to keep my poor handwriting straight on the card. but after writing on the card then I erase the pencil lines.
I add some colored markers writing too. It was a fine addition I guess!
My dear brother helped me when I were working! I saw this above image later in my mobile. He captured it somehow but I am glad he did. Because this is the only image I have about making of these cards.
Wow.. These are many! Almost 30 I guess! A few were having some mistakes so I skip those cards from the collection which were not neatly written.
What do you think friends? are these looking fine? I am glad to see response of those who were holding these in their hands when I gave it to them.
Here I have packed a gift for a friend who was visiting the expo. I gifted her my handmade decoration piece :)
So here is a simple solution for those who want to make their own handmade business cards. I am not much satisfied with these simple cards though. I am planning to make some more handmade cards with a colored base. This white base seems simple! Right?
I will be sharing some more ideas soon! I hope You will like these handmade business cards! Would you like to see my Handmade Wishing Cards? Or my Washi Tape Crafts.
Be sure to share this idea with your crafty friends by social media sharing (use the sharing buttons at sidebar) So this will be helping more people in getting some ideas! Sharing is caring :) Right?
