Silk Painting

During my textile design studies, I learnt many techniques of fabric painting and coloring but the most difficult I found was Silk Painting! I made a shirt designed with these paints. looking too bright and good. very colorful shirt. Today I will be sharing some images of my shirt with you. its a cloth not stitched shirt.

I love doing this..Lets see a few of my work..

First of all I draw the design with pencil and applied some fabric glue for sealing the fabric design. otherwise paints will be penetrating from the design outlines.
I fill the colors with paint brush when glue was dry.
And at the end for giving it a final touch I simply added an outline of golden led paint.
So what do you think, isnt it looking good? my theme for this design was Fruits. And dont you think its fresh design like some colorful fruits? haha
You can see all of my Fabric Paint & Textile Design work from the archives.
I hope you will like it.

P,S This Silk Paint Fabric is available for Sale. contact if you want to buy! Thanks.

Thank you!

I have one small question for this silk painting work, did u use acrylic colours here? Have you anytime tested the waterproof nature of it?
