Easy Art Project Ideas for decorating mirror with seashells

Hey everyone, how is the summer season in Pakistan treating you? it’s getting intense here day by day. During the hectic hot summer days, I crafted a beach inspired craft which is actually satisfying. It is among one of my easiest art project ideas which I have done before. I decorated a little mirror frame with Mod podge collage clay and some original seashells. Have a look:

How is this seashells decorated mirror? I made it in 10 minutes only as there is no professional skill required in decorating this. I have shared many other seashells art project ideas and this is one of the easiest craft.

Craft Supplies You Will Need :

Any wide framed mirror – I got one cheap frame from a local store

Seashells – original shells from the beach of Cadiz Spain.

Pearl beads in plastic material

Collage clay in pink color (I had some clay getting dried which I wanted to use instead of throwing out)

Mod Podge Glue

First of all, I apply some glue on the frame & then a thick layer of collage clay. As it was a bit dry so I used more glue and coated it with glue before fixing seashells on it.

Here I covered the frame border with collage clay & then coated it with more transparent glue.

Here I fix the seashells on it & pearl beads too.

My seashells decorated mirror craft is ready. Does it looks fine and giving a beach vibes? When I was taking its final picture, mirror was reflecting opposite things. So here is a sky view with some clouds here, I hope you don’t mind seeing. hehe.

For decorating this mirror, I got a plain sheet & stick the mirror on it not straight. Then on the sides of the mirror I paste these stones, shells and pearls. Here you can see step by step tutorial of this Seashells decorated mirror.

This is a very old shell craft by me, many years ago I made this candle with some spare wax. I melt it and pour it in the jar, then on top of it, I fixed some mini shells on it.
