DIY Tissue Paper Roll Holder | Recycled Art Projects

I am back with another DIY idea after a few months of the gap. I am sharing another fun DIY idea about reusing trash cans. Though I’ve previously shared a similar craft tutorial on my blog, today’s tutorial is in a different style. I hope you will like this idea too. DIY Tissue Paper Roll Holder

I crafted this with a tin can of supplement formula milk. We throw such empty cans out after every other week. I decided to make a toilet paper roll box out of it. This is an easy yet suitable idea for keeping it anywhere.

Craft supplies required:

Tin can – Duct tape – Nonstick scissors – Paper cutter

First, I made a hole in the lid to take out the tissue paper. As the can lid part is a very soft plastic, it is easier to make a cut. I placed it on a solid surface & made a straight cut carefully with the paper cutter, and then another cut in the opposite direction. After cutting it like a plus sign (+) then turn & fold the cuts a little outward, so the tissue will be easily passing through the cut area. I cut tiny edges of the inner corners as they were sharp after making the cut.

First, I put the black polka dot tape on the top & bottom of the can, then I overlap the pink paisleys duct tape in the middle. Ta-Da!! It is just a 5 minutes craft idea but will be super useful daily.

To add the tissue paper roll in the can, first, remove its paper tube from the middle. After removing the paper tube, it will fit easily in the tin can. Start the tissue from the mid part of the roll as directed in the above picture. You can also create crafts using the paper tube of toilet paper roll. Here are some more ideas from my blog!

You can place such tissue paper holders anywhere on the shelf or in the bathroom. As they are covered with duct tape, so this will stay the same for a long time.
