Independence Day Celebrations-Work In Progress
Independence Day of Pakistan (Jashan-e-Azadi) is almost here, I am sorry I have been lazy in sharing some Independence Day Crafts & Ideas, Although I were working on a few green crafts but didn’t get chance to share these articles on the blog! Life is going too busy with work load Alhamdulillah..Anyways! Today I am sharing some sneak peeks of my work & in the next article I will be sharing the finished project. This article is just to make you curious about what I am working on! haha..Let’s see..
Independence Day Celebrations-Work In Progress
I made a flag out of clay! I thought it would be easy to work with as well as quick, but to be very honest the clay work is not that easy! It was my first time working with polymer clay, I always prefer making my own recipe of homemade dough, that’s smooth and quick drying! without any baking as well. But this polymer clay takes long to craft this tiny flag, specially the small star making!
I always enjoy working with glass paints & bottle paintings, you may remember my previous bottle paintings and designing which is part of my recycled crafts.. Oh well.. who don’t like recycling?
I tried to make some shimmer on it with silver glitter..Green looks good with silver! I am a fan of glitter crafts totally & its always my first choice while working on most of my projects :)
Our neighbors are having some peacocks as their pets, I never ask them for the peacock feathers (I always wanted to ask though..hehe) But they are good enough to send me a bunch of peacock feathers one day! WOW.. I never told anyone that I want these.. This is how our silent wishes get noticed sometime ;) well it was nice to get some beautiful feathers! Let’s see what I will be doing with these! Any Guess?
This is the polymer clay sticks I were talking about at start..
Making of the cute Pakistani flag charm with polymer clay :)
As it is the month of independence of Pakistan, So I were celebrating it by capturing some green & white photography! How beautiful is this bunch of jasmine flower buds <3
This one is my most favorite click, After clicking this during the rain, I was happy to see this fine image, so this is now my phone screen wallpaper.. The month is all about celebrating with green :)
Do you remember my previous independence day crafts ideas? I have shared a few accessories, An earring with one rupee coins, Glass bangles & a Pendant.. Enjoy these tutorials HERE. I will be sharing this year’s craft at 14th August at the day of independence of Pakistan! I hope you will like that as you have always appreciated my work.
I am glad to announce that my independence day crafts have been published in a Pakistani magazine recently! (I will be sharing a click of that feature soon) Sub-editor contact me & appreciate my work a lot! So they publish my work in the Independence Day Special Edition of the magazine! :) Alhamdulillah!
