Decoupage
Jewelry Box Decoupage & Design
I am going to share another Recycling-Reuse and a fun idea with lots of possibilities..Its helpful for those who want to organize their messy small accessories..so have a look..
Here it is my most recent creation..a Jewelry Box..and it is from a sweets box…Really?
I am very good in keeping some reusable trash in my craft room(my mother usually try to hide these things from me..she knows very well that I will not stop my hands from recycling) Yay..!
Have a look at my decoupaged jewelry box..embellished with some polymer/dough flowers & fillers..
Jewelry Box Decoupage
What do you think friends..? is it looking good..? fine as a jewelry box?
So if you want to make one..You will need to have;
A tin box
brown paper tape
polymer clay flowers
Modpodge gloss
1- Wash the sweets tin box
2- Torn paper tape pieces
3- Paste on box with glue
4-Let it dry…
5- Make a dough flower(Recipe for homemade dough)
6- paste a piece of dough in the center of box top
7- when the flower will be dry & hard, then fix it in the dough base
8- fix other fillers in the dough
9- Fix all tiny thingies one by one on box top
10- Color the dough things with acrylic paints
11- Cover the whole area with flowers & fillers
12- Lets Mod Podge it..for making it glossy :)
Ta-da
Let it dry completely for a few hours.. I add glitter as outline & in the middle of white flowers.
And let me know about the before & after…by the way, before there was a very yummy sweet Sohan halve in it..but after..there was nothing :(
Here are a few of my colorful necklaces & beads jewelry..now my treasure is in safe hands..I mean at safe place,,haha..what do you think friends?
It can be a perfect Gift as well..you can add goodies in it & simply present anyone with just a ribbon bow..no need to cover this box with packing..Right..?
My other version of sweets box design,
Enjoy ~
