Eid-Al-Adha and Hajj 2019 Mubarak to all Muslim readers of my blog. Today I am sharing crafts for kids to do at home related Eid-al-baqar(also known as Eid-al-adha). I hope you will like my today’s craft idea. I know I am late in publishing the post as it is now about last minute, but I had tight schedule of work as well as a slow internet connectivity. Anyways, finally the blog post is ready to share with dear readers of creative Khadija Blog. I hope you will like it :)
I made this banner/bunting for hanging on the wall, its an easy yet do-able idea which you can easily try with your kids at home. In act it can be an art activity for kids at school.

Craft Supplies You Will Need:
For making this Eid ul Adha banner, you will need to collect a few craft supplies only which I am sure all available at your home.
Fabric 16″x7″ piece, Sheep Template on paper, Polyester or wool, Black fabric paint acrylic or emboss, Black marker, Paint brush with thin tip, Transparent glue or mod podge, BBQ stick for hanging, Buttons for embellishment.
I fold the fabric piece in half and started working on front panel. I placed the template paper under the fabric, as it is a thin cotton fabric so its see through as well. It is easy to draw the sheep from template paper. If you are taking some thick fabric which is not see through, then you will draw it on the fabric by using transfer paper sheet.
The black little squares you are seeing on the fabric here, I used a stencil for making these. It is the same stencil which I used for designing a toilet paper roll organizer I made for cords/cables. You can see the detailed post to see how I used the stencil.
Next I filled the sheep’s body area design with a thin layer of transparent glue & pasted the polyester on it. Do not separate the paper from back side otherwise glue will stick to the other side of fabric.
With the help of black marker, I draw some shading lines around the legs of sheep. Then I wrote EID on the right side of sheep & filled it with black fabric paint.
I paste two floral buttons and fixed the stick with hot glue gun on top for hanging. As it is very light in weight, so it’s easy to hang it anywhere.

My sheep banner or bunting is ready for Eid al adha 2019. Is it looking good?
Eid Mubarak In Advance! Here you can see these two cute little sheep, let me tell you something about these..
I saw these on a local store last month & couldn’t stop myself from buying these as they are super cute ceramic sheep covered with cotton/polyester. I kept these saved for the whole month and thought to use these as photo props for my Eid Al Adha pictures. As my craft room is super messy these days, so I lost my sheep OMG.. Then after a long duration search operation, finally I got my hands on one of the PR package box from Sunsilk, in which I found these buddies. They are so cute and soft.
