I bought two pots for planting some shelf plants. If you remember, one of them I have painted in truck art inspired colors. Today I am painting the other pot by using decoupage technique. I hope you will enjoy this easy pot painting idea by me. Like my other craft tutorials, you will need a very few craft supplies for this DIY too.

You will need these craft supplies:
A pot & saucer
Acrylic paints
Decoupage paper or thin fabric cut outs
Paint brushes or foam spatula
Mod podge glue or any white glue

Isn’t it looking pretty? Super easy to decorate a pot with limited craft supplies.
In case the video instruction are not working well for you, here you can follow these visual step by step details of pot painting idea.
How To Design The Pot :
Wash the pot & before painting it, make it wet so it will absorb less paint.
Make a base coat & let it dry for a few minutes. Then paste the floral fabric cut outs with mod podge fabric formula.
Once it gets dry, coat it with mod podge sealer.
When it will get dry, then fill it with soil & plant anything. I have planted a mini aloe vera plant in it. Isn’t it looking good now?
I put it in my room shelf & it looks so refreshing. Pink & green contrast is just lovely. What do you think? A touch of refreshing green in your room is always good for sight as well as the atmosphere.
