Published on
I enjoy making creative stuff with ordinary things..a few days back I make this flower pot/paintbrush holder/vase or anything else you can say..the most ordinary thing I have used here is Pistachio shells ;) I love eating salted fried pistachios a lot & I am in a habit of keeping their shells in a crafty packet,so I can make several things ! its a first try :)lets see my today’s fun creation..
Pistachio shell Vase Tutorial (Recycling)
This steel holder/can is basically a perfume casing,When I got this perfume on my birthday,I like its can cover first & then its fragrance..
~ Process ~
I paste these shells with any transparent glue(you can use mod podge)I am using movileth German glue because after making 30 cool creations now my mod podge is about to end..
You can make any thick & big shape,I make a thin design because I want to have its dark red color!
Leave it until dry!
I use plaid folkart acrylic paints for painting these pistachios in two colors,(vanilla & strawberry..yummy)
When the paint get dry,I paste some pearl beads on it..
I make a few rough strokes of flat brush too!
At the end I apply mod podge sparkle on it & its done!
What do you think..is it looking good?
I haven’t decided yet,how to use it..as a pencil/brush holder?paper flower pot?mental vase or what..? you can give me your valuable suggestions too :)
Have a Nice Day Friends
