Life of a university student is never easy. Keeping heavy books, facing presentations, making assignments on daily basis & sometimes weekly deadlines..oops. It drives me crazy while managing all that stuff. For my syllabus books, Sometimes I have paper strips as bookmark while studying!! But when my crafty mind is active, I make lots of bookmarks for my every book. Today I will show you how I made some bookmarks recently.

I am in a habit of saving shopping/gift tags. A few days back I tried something colorful with these & now these trash tags are in a good use..Yes, Do you want to know How?
Actually these are a few tags which we usually throw after removing packing of our shopping stuff.

You will Need..

Some shopping tags

Any poster paint or acrylics

Paint brushes

Modpodge for sealing

Make Colorful Bookmarks

Then start working with one color on all tags,(so you will save time from washing your paint brushes on & off) I am using three or four brushes of different tip sizes.

When you will complete your base color on tags,then start making designs, lines, dots & doodles on it. I am working on all these free hand. You can pick any pattern if you want.

I love My Pakistan’s flag bookmark. How nicely it’s giving waves. It’s the Best bookmark idea for a patriot student of Pakistan Studies subject.

After painting & designing all these, leave it until dry totally .

Now a pretty part of crafting. Modpodge these tags & when they will get dry you can use zero sand paper if you think its getting sticky..

These bookmarks can be used as gift tags, My readers who are not students or into book reading, They can try this as gift tags as well.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention these foamic stickers.

I was having these foaming stickers in my craft stash so I thought to use some here.

My books are also happy with these bookmarks,, I am studying about e-textbook development & writing. An interesting topic no doubt.

Have you noticed the joke of the year in this post? One of the above bookmark have a sticker showing”HAPPY” How can a student feel happy while studying difficult subjects?? haha

Another fact, Its my Last semester going on, Soon my student life is going to an end This is sad too but anyways, Let’s enjoy these last few months while studying & catching up with deadlines of assignments.
