A few weeks back I saw an interesting campaign opportunity from The Body Shop where they welcomed people to submit empty plastic bottles & jars at their outlet & get free samples from them. It a great cause as they will be recycling that plastic to create their new packaging after processing the trash plastic jars or bottles.

Reuse Recycle and Recreate a Gift Jar for Valentine’s Day

Craft supplies you will need:

Felt fabric,

Scissors,

Glue,

Netting fabric,

Embellishments,

Foam brush,

Plastic Jar

This body butter I got last year from The Body Shop, one of the best moisturizer cream I have ever tried. Sadly this year the jar is now empty as I use hand moisturizers in summer season too. I have dry yet sensitive skin so it is important to keep your skin hydrated.

How to make a Gift Jar for Valentine’s Day

Anyways, for decorating this jar, first clean the empty jar. Then measure felt fabric according to the size of jar lid top and the sides of the jar.

Apply glue on the jar and paste the felt round shape and strip pieces on it.

Here I cut a heart shaped piece of glitter netting and felt to paste on the top of it.

In the end, I have pasted few sticky rhinestones on it and the jar is ready. You can make it as an organizer or memory box a well as gift jar for your friend. It have some good space in it if you want to keep it in your handbag.
